Barcelona forward Leo Messi says he believes PSG is “the ideal” place to win the Champions League again.
PSG and Barca last met in the 2015 final and will meet again in the final of this season’s competition.
Messi, 32, says he hopes his side can continue their form from the first leg against Paris St-Germain to win the tie.
“It’s the ideal place to win another title. We have to keep it together,” he said.
“We need to carry on with the same attitude we showed in the first leg – and it would be a great achievement for us.
“They are the best team in the world and some of the best players in the world – and we have to be at our best to beat them.”
The 31-year-old Brazilian Neymar had a sensational first-leg display against Barca, scoring twice to secure a 7-1 aggregate victory.
He scored again in a 3-0 victory on Tuesday, but was rested for the second leg.
After a difficult season so far, a fourth Champions League title in five years would certainly bolster his standing at PSG.
“When he came to Paris, he had a dream to compete in the Champions League and play against the best team in the world,” said Messi.
“We are all happy that he was able to do that and he scored two goals in the first leg – but he did not play this match.”
PSG forward Edinson Cavani said after the match that he will miss “two weeks” after injuring a groin muscle in the first leg.
“He’s not a fighter,” said Barca coach Ernesto Valverde of Cavani. “I’m sure he’ll be ready for the weekend and I’m optimistic he’ll be able to play in the Champions League.”
