On Sunday, longtime friends Miley Cyrus and Pete Davidson of “Saturday Night Live” marked their first anniversary with matching new tattoos — a whale inked on her stomach.

“One year today we found out we are brother and sister,” Davidson captioned a video of the artwork, in which the “Wrecking Ball” singer seemed to be lying on a bed, baring her stomach while his hand guided the ink.

The “SNL” cast member, who’s dating the singer following her engagement to actor Liam Hemsworth, added to his album of heart tattoos next to his heart and added to Cyrus’s collection by adding the “S-H-O-R-D-E” to the left side of his forearm. In an Instagram story from Sunday, he added a “whale” shadow to her portrait.

According to TMZ, sources say the new tats are the result of Cyrus’s top lip from previous plastic surgery suffering from “extreme scarring.” Sources told the website that Cyrus planned the new ink to go on her stomach so she could hide it for the duration of her “wedding preparations.”

Earlier this month, the two celebrated their first Valentine’s Day as man and wife by popping the question — though it seems they have yet to set a wedding date. In February, Cyrus told Vogue that the reason behind the delay was because she’s in such a “shootin’ mood.”

“I’m getting married at this point if nothing changes, and I’m going to get married in the summer,” she told the magazine. “It’s going to happen. But I’m going to [have a wedding] slow.”
