Tiny Love Stories: ‘We Hadn’t Made Love in Months’ – A Tale of Two Friends Who Have Lost It Forever
It is not unusual to me to find couples who “get together” and within a few days, the same day or even the same hour the couple “get back together” and the friendship is over.
A few years back, I was in a similar situation with a couple who had been friends since they were in their 20s. They knew I was a photographer and they knew I was a writer, but they didn’t say anything about me being both photographers and writers. In fact, I’d only met them once in my life, the night they met my son at the hospital.
But it turned out that we knew each other really well, from the time I was an intern in their hometown, to the time they were in a hospital with their newborn son. It was a couple who had a passion for painting and had been together for a while before they got back together.
At first, I thought the idea to write about “pregnant” was out the window, yet something seemed to happen, and this was years ago. I had no idea it would be a love story.
